It worked just fine for a long time and then suddenly isn't. Mouse-driven users can take advantage of features like the dock, Minimize and Maximize buttons, and hot corners (opening the Workspaces view by flinging your cursor to a corner of your screen) to seamlessly transition to PopOS while keeping their existing habits.

I don't know how to go back to the default setup either since I'm not sure what I did to set up the dock that way several months ago. COSMIC maintains longtime UI practices to keep PopOS comfortable and familiar. There are numerous external options available for Linux, such as Plank, Cairo Dock, Dash to Dock, and so on.
